From what I've heard from Marina, Good Omens is supposed to be good...So I might read it one day. I like reading books that others say are good or are recommended to me...just to see if I like them.
I'm getting Howl's Moving Castle for Christmas...So I now that I'll read that. I will also read All That Remains, a murder mystery, by Patricia Cornwell...who rocks the world. \m/ She figured out who Jack the Ripper was. I am soon to read that book on her experiment.
For those that like mysteries...read her books and see how you like them.

I'm reading Terry Pratchett's Hogfather currently. Looks pretty cool for now... I just finished reading it two days ago! Coolest shit ever. It's up there with my fave Discworld books. And I add to the list: FIRE AND HEMLOCK by Diana Wynne Jones.

Anne Rice is doing a book/books on God.
Not sure if they'll be against him or with him. *shrugs* The article in the magazine I saw was called The Gospel According to Anne Rice. I didn't have time to read it.
*runs over to get it*
Article:
The queen of the occult has been gone awhile. What's Anne Rice been up to? Getting healthy, finding God - and writing her most daring book yet. "I was in despair...I promised that from now on I would write only for the Lord."
The Book is About...: Rice's most daring move, though, is to try to get inside the head of a 7-year-old kid who's intermittently aware that he's also God Almighty. It's called Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt, the novel about the 7-year-old Jesus, narrated by Christ himself. She calls Christ "the ultimate supernatural hero...the ultimate immortal fo them all. She watched every Biblical movie she could find, from "The Robe" to "The Passion of the Christ" (Anne: "I loved it.") "If I really complete the life of Christ the way I want to do it," she says, "then I might go on and write a new type of fiction. It won't be like the other. It'll be in a world that includes redemption." Still, you can bet the Devil's going to get the best lines.

I personally think that her Vampire Chronicles have something about the Lord, it's odd, but if this is the path she want's to take, so be it. I will miss my Louis though.
I'm going to the book signing for it. ^.^

That's so awesome!
I agree with you on what you said about the Lord in her Vampire Chronicles. I have heard many things about that.
This book actually seems interesting though. *shrugs*
