Now, I think we've all heard the phrase "Pimpin' Ain't Easy!" right? It seems to be generally accepted as fact, and has become a slogan of sorts for the pimping community.
But can we really believe what we are told?
There are some who believe the difficulty of pimping, and they're opinions are just as valid as anyone's, but I believe it is a hoax.
Yes, an elaborate conspiracy. Why? Well, think about it. Pimping is a desirable job. But if you tell people it "ain't easy" it would lose some of it's desire, wouldn't you think?
Now why anyone want pimping to be less desirable. Well the answer is quite simple:
Less competition.
Pimps already have much competition. These days it can be expected that up to 3 pimps are working ONE BLOCK. When you think of that, it makes the plight of poor African nations look like NOTHING.
The last thing they need is more pimps, so they make it out to be that pimpin is stressful. And maybe it is, but I think they're blowing it way out of proportion.
But given the circumstance ... can you blame them?
What are your views on the matter?

I highly doubt that's the problem. It's because of the big corporation pimps who take control of large areas. Which brings in insurance, because if you're caught working in their hoods, you're dead. That's what makes it difficult.

If I may play the devil's advocate:
As Puff Daddy informes us mo money = mo problems
as you become a pimp, you get money, leading to an increase in problems
problems lead to an increase of life's difficulties
Now, as we know, the ammount of easiness in one's life must be perportional to the ammount of difficulties
Therefore, as difficulties increase, easiness goes down
If you are a subscriber to that philosophy, then NO: pimping is not easy
but that is only one way to look at it...

Then there's the fact that you seem to get every other girl pregnant and have to sponsor their children or whatever that's call.

Now, now, you're confusing pimping with prostitution
Pimps push hoes. They hook them up with other customers, in exchange for a percent of the hooker's fee.

I'm afraid you didn't understand my point. Of course pimps have their little fun every now and then. It's only reasonable.

Well then it dosn't have anything to do with pimpin.
This isn't a discussion of hot sexy lovin of pimps off the job, this is determining in the long-standing pimp credo speaks the truth.

This was hilarious at another board I go to. Me and another poster had an intellectual, political sounding debate on the matter

But given the circumstance ... can you blame them? What are your views on the matter? I must disagree with you on that matter, my friend. By saying that, you are calling the great pimps liars. Which is far from true. They are the men of Honor who wield their hoes with a great respect. Maybe that is just some kind of warning, so people know what they will be doing if they decide to become the pimp. Many people have tried to become one and many of them have failed to accomplish that task, so many of them have fallen in shame. They started blaming pimps, they started to speak that pimps are the reason because they failed. Why? How can pimp be a reason for some dumbass to fail?! - Simple. They didn't gave them any kind of "warning', therefore everyone thought pimpin' is easy and got PWNed big time... So pimps had to spread that "Pimpin' Ain't Easy!". Now only true master who knows how to manage his hoes can become a real pimp. People practice hard for this, they travel all around the world, just to specialize their pimpin' skills. When they are ready, they go to the testing, which tells them are they ready to go out there, in the world of pimpin'. Competition can be good for the master pimps. When a new, skilled pimp challenges the grand master pimp to a battle for the throne, master kicks his ass and gets more respect.

Hm...
Well, pimpin is bad to me. You have sex for money...[sarcasm]Is this world innocent or what?[/sarcasm] Sex wasn't created for money.
And yes: mo money = mo problems.
But I would think that pimpin is hard at first. Well hey, some are probably having sex for the first time! But I still believe it's a horrible thing to do.

A true pimp would not care what anyone thought, thus saying they use "pimpin ain't easy" just to prevent slander is a highly flawed argument.
